What We Offer
We offer a range of services including: enrolment and the issuing of student ID cards; the issuing of Council Tax Exemption Certificates, letters attesting to student status (for banks, Government agencies, etc), information, advice and guidance on the regulations; the facility to amend your student record details (e.g. date of birth). ID Cards
Students at BITE will receive two sets of ID cards once they have been enrolled with the British Institute of Technology & Ecommerce. They will have BITE ID which they can use to access building and resources at BITE and when they are fully enrolled with the collaborative university they are issued another ID card which they can use to access the collaborative university building and other facilities.
There is a fee of £10 for the replacement of a student ID card. Please get a Duplicate ID Card request form from the helpdesk, pay the fee at the finance department, and deposit the form back to our helpdesk.
Edit Personal Information
Please keep your information up-to-date, and let us know when you change your address. Students personal information is saved at BITE and the collaborative university, please update your programme administrator if your information is not correct. You can send a request to update your name, contact address, email/phone contact. Please download this form and send it to studentservices@bite.ac.uk or deposit the form back to our helpdesk.
Council Tax Letters
Students can request a council tax letter by filling in form at student helpdesk or download form and send it to studentservices@bite.ac.uk
Student Discount Travelcards
The 18+ Student Oyster Photocard provides huge savings on travel around London. Students can get 30 per cent on Travelcards & Bus season tickets if they are studying for one month or longer periods of up to one year. To apply online for 18+ Student Oyster you need:
• Your Enrolment ID from your education establishment
• A digital passport size photo to upload
• A credit or debit card to pay the £5 fee
Once your application is received, your Oyster Photo card should arrive at your address within seven days. Apply online now
