Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, the former president of India visit BITE
Former president of India, Dr A P J Kalam visited BITE on 10 June 2008 to open its new nano laboratory facility in Forest Gate, London. BITE has more than doubled the size of its premises with its occupancy of the new building.
Dr Kalam proceeded to give a lecture, “Convergence of Technologies” before an invited audience of special guests and students followed by a meal to celebrate the occasion.
