 The delegation of The Ministry of Justice, Uganda Visited BITE
 
 


The Ministry of Justice, Uganda team visited BITE on Friday 17th October 2008 and met the management of BITE.

The two organisations will encourage direct contact and co-operation between the two parties to support:

  • Bespoke studies to aid policy development
  • Capacity Building
  • Identification of principles for success
  • Identification of successful support methods used by judiciaries globally
  • Develop recommendations for client
  • ICT Training for Legal Institutions
  • Identify a suitable Information System
  • Develop a Judiciary Website

Both parties understand that besides above all financial arrangements will have to be negotiated and will depend on the availability of funds.

Ugandian Delegation consist of

  • Dr. Khiddu Makubuya - The Attorney General & Minister for Justice of the Republic of Uganda
  • C. Gashirabake - State Attorney of the Republic of Uganda
  • Christine Kaahwa - State Attorney of the Republic of Uganda
  • Mumtaz Kassam - Deputy High Commissioner

The British Institute of Technology and E-commerce team includes

  • Dr. Muhammad Farmer - Director & Founder of BITE
  • Stephen Moore - Director of Corporate Services
  • Kelvin Jones - Director of Knowledge Consultancy
