This programme builds upon the past operational knowledge and experience of managers by focusing on the operational issues of management within an organisation. It is expected that you will already be at Level 5 Diploma in Management, or be of post-graduate calibre, to commence this programme. Your management experience at and around this level will also be taken into account.
Course Content
The programme concentrates on the practical application of management theory and principles at the operational level within the organisation, thus providing momentum for continuing professional and personal development.

Progression Routes
Upon successful completion of the Executive Diploma in Management, a number of progression options become available:
- Enhance your professional status by becoming a Member (MCMI) of the Institute
- Start working towards Chartered Manager status
- The Executive Diploma in Management’s credit rating with the Open University (90 M points*) means that most UK universities give you credit towards relevant degrees, masters, MBA or postgraduate programmes
