Seminars @BITE

At BITE, we have an independant research department... we do not want our research team to have somebody permanently looking over their shoulders... They are left alone where they can try, they can succeed, they can mess around, they can fail, they can try again... And, at the end, they can be surprised as well as we are surprised ! This team organizes a regular seminar where all the research staff gather their experience. The last one took place at BITE on Monday the 6th of June 2011 with the following program:
  • Dr. Adam Watt: Nano Structure
  • Dr. Farrukh Alavi: Android programming
  • Dr. Fatemah Shaik: Challenge with 4G technology
  • Dr. Ahmed Alnaemi: New features of Network Management systems
  • Dr. Galina Pasko: Modern modeling in animation
  • Professor Hasan Al-Saedy: ICT and the security and privacy challenges
  • Professor Gilles Richard: Artificial Intelligence: Past and Future
  • Dr. Peter Robinson: 19th Century – Literature and Science
  • Mr. Mark Winfield: HRM- Diversity + RPO Business History – Ptolemaic Egypt
  • Dr. Joy Joseph: Implication of Japan crisis on the world economy
